2 1/2" Hose Monster with built-in pitot

The 2 1/2" Hose Monster cancels the thrust and is FM Approved for accuracy.The Hose Monster comes with a built-in, reversible pitot. Minimize pitot damage by rotating the pitot into the downstream position while flushing debris is present. When the water clears, reposition it into the read position. If a pitot becomes damaged, in spite of these precautions, it can easily be replaced in the field with simple hand tools. (PCK Pitot Changeout Kit) We also offer a repair service for damaged pitots at about 1/3 of the price of a new one.

For lower capacity systems use FM Nozzle Inserts. Simply slip a Nozzle Insert into the inlet of the Hose Monster. Because it is the correct length, the nozzle outlet is positioned 1/2 the diameter from the pitot. Available in sizes of 1 1/8" and 1 3/4" so you can read flow rates as low as 118 GPM.

2 1/2" Hose Monster with the Pitotless Nozzle™

The FM Approved Pitotless Nozzle eliminates the expense and inconvenience of pitot change-outs and repairs. The patented Pitotless Nozzle measures internal nozzle pressure without the use of a pitot. Most debris will pass harmlessly through it without affecting the nozzle. This can be added to your existing Hose Monster with pitot, or the 2 1/2" Hose Monster Flusher.

Hose Monster® Flusher
The 2 ½” Flushing unit is the same as the 2 ½” Hose Monster but without the ability to read flow rates. It does not include the pitot system or flow chart but it can be upgraded later by adding the HMPK.

4" and 4 1/2" Hose Monster

The Hose Monster, in 4" and 4 1/2" sizes, uses a precision machined internal orifice plate to measure flow rates. There is no pitot to become damaged by rocks and flushing debris. This makes it an excellent device for flow testing large capacity systems and unidirectional flushing.
